The Sandy Hook School Foundation has funded grant requests for a variety of programs and resources that aim to make a long term difference in our school community. Funded grants include:
A series of Professional Development Workshops for staff on how to teach children who have suffered a trauma
A Learning Lab for students to build skills and self confidence across core subject areas
Before and after school enrichment activities focused on the academic, mental and physical wellbeing of students
Resources to support the ongoing recovery efforts across Newtown Public Schools
